The Geographical Society of Philadelphia is a richly historied organization that sponsors a wide range of specialty programming throughout the year for members and public. They felt that their website and other materials needed an update to showcase their exciting annual calendar, as well as their beautiful collection of photography.
I was brought on through the PR agency that the Geographical Society hired to work on their materials and public relations. I worked with the color schemes and copy developed by the agency for each programming track, updated the logotype while maintaining the Society seal, and designed a dramatic refresh of their website in time for the 2012 season launch. I built it to interface with their existing e-commerce system, the upgrade of which will be another project altogether.
