In 2012, I took the lead on the annual BarCamp Philadelphia conference. Step one was the logo.
As a global brand, BarCamp uses the flame logo (which is highly recognized in the design and tech industries) and every iteration of the event modifies that logo to its own custom identity. The BarCamp Philly logo changes every year, and in 2012 I had the honor of developing the annual version.
This logo builds on the famous Love Park statue in Philadelphia, for a wonderful local flair.
